There’s a couple of aspects to my science work. The first is that I’m a neutron scatterer - I work with a team of other scientists, engineers and technicians to run an instrument that is available for the whole research community to use. The other is that I research cryominerals, that is minerals that are liquid or gas under ‘normal’ conditions - but in the outer solar system these materials shape many different worlds. I get to work with a range of amazing people on these projects - do click through to find out more.
